Thanks for the thoughts guys. Yeah, I updated the GSM firmware to moko
11 already and it didn't help.  I agree it's strange that it won't
connect. I have even taken the phone into city's with known 900 MHz
coverage and still can't get more than SOS Only service. I have used
this SIM chip in other Freerunners (850 band A6) and it works fine. I
wish I knew more about how to troubleshoot this kind of problem. Where
would I go to find out what band the phone is connecting to, or trying
to connect to?
