Hey Risto,

Mine's been sitting in the box for about a year since I got it. I pull
it out every now and then to try the latest distro of whichever one
promises to just work. It then ends up back in the box unusable with
typically several hours wasted.

The phone has some very good hardware and a solid design. I was told not
to get the 1973 because it wasn't ready yet, but that the FreeRunner
would be "ready" for normal use. I bought the FreeRunner when it came
out. I wouldn't say I had been lied to, but I would say they stretched
the truth when it comes to the software.

Until there is a stable distro that actually works and doesn't require
endless hours of examining wikis to get it up and running, I am stuck
with a crusty old Treo 650.
