I simply love the idea that any relationship may be expressed between contacts. Being a believer in the concept 'key data should be kept in one place' i would like to suggest that this idea can be taken further still. Suppose there is an Agenda application that can interact with the contact application as regards any individual. Then he can create an entry in his agenda that automatically relates to the relevant contacts. He could send a message to all of indicated contacts relevant to that event whatever it maybe - birthday party, well the list is endless. A reminder or cancellation message or minutes of reunion etc would be just as easy to send. if backward links can be stored (with a validity date for automatic deletion) then whenever actually making contact with anyone one would have an automatic reminder of planned reunions etc. Just an idea. As for a regular field i would like to have a free text entry for private notes about any contact.
