I have the same problem from time to time, not reproducable, however.
well, it's extremely reproducible for me, so if anyone would like me to run any tests, i'll happily do so.

i'm not sure my error's the same as yours, as you write that "When I am lucky enough to get the GSM subsystem registered and I place a call, it terminates after a short moment". in my case, the call is fine; it's the window that disappears.
i note that you went back and added a comment that your original problem had gone and you were left with a problem that does look like mine, but i'm not sure what the etiquette is about changing problems mid-ticket.
SHR chaps, it's your tracker. should i add more detail to 957, or should i open a new ticket?
