Yup. Also, starting gpsd by hand gives a message about a missing
device. Navit, by the way. also complains about a missing GPS.
ok, it's ticket 1030 in the tracker
( http://trac.shr-project.org/trac/ticket/1030 ). you may want to go in
and add your comments!
That warning says nothing, because frameworkd tries the old and the new sys
path. So one of both have to fail.
that was my suspicion also, from ticket 692.
I think the problem is, that you are missing fso-gpsd.
Please have o look if fso-gpsd is installed.
oops:
r...@tom-gta02 /media/card/root $ opkg list_installed|grep gps
tangogps - 0.99.3-r0.4
r...@tom-gta02 /media/card/root $
you are right, i have not. when i install it, everything is much happier.
thank you!
that said, i reflashed yesterday, using the latest jffs that i could
find:
http://build.shr-project.org/shr-unstable/images/om-gta02/shr-full-eglibc-ipk--20100306-om-gta02.rootfs.jffs2
and then did an opkg update && opkg upgrade to bring it up-to-patch. so
it is possible that the image has it somehow left out, and that tango's
dependencies don't pull it in? it's probably not the sort of package that
should be left out of shr-full images.
should i close the tracker i opened?
