I counted 10 today, they happen during startup 2. The gadgets Home L-R and Illume setup have very long response times, up to 60 seconds for me. Can someone look into http://www.1qaz.de/e.log.bz2 it is made with strace. Notice the heavy activity on fd 5, which is a socket (see fd directory below). Furtheron numerous stat/open/close calls to theme files, that are already opened.
