Every time I have used UBIFS I have had fatal filesystem corruption
the first time I reboot. From previous discusssion on the list I am
given to believe that this is a result of not shutting down cleanly
(in my case running "reboot" is apparently not shutting down cleanly)

Is this still an issue? What do people do to ensure that the
filesystem remains intact?

It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either
charming or tedious.
