Seems that "date" on shr is "different" from the usual date command ( maybe
it's a minimal version ). If you try

date --help

check out the last paragraph: Recognized TIME formats.
Try with one of the format described there with something like that

date -s "YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm"

with the values you want
