Hi, I have an weird problem - the speaker and microphone always stay routed to the 2.5mm socket.
I think that the problem is that the 2.5mm socket that has mechanical switch (activated on jack insertion) that causes the wires of built-in speaker and microphone to be routed to the corresponding wires on the 2.5mm switch. I am sure the switch is mechanical as reboot does not help. Before the switch broke, I used it daily for several weeks. I am now considering to open the phone, and inspect the 2.5mm socket in the hope of making the wiring go back to the built-in speaker and microphone, even on permanent basis. Have anyone done this before? Anything I should be aware of? -- Arie
