My new kingston 8GB microSDHC card is mounted as read only (although
the first time it was mounted ok , created 2 dirs and transfered
files). Also it displays an error 'ls: ./music: Input/output error'
about my /media/card/music dir'. During that session of using the neo, i was trying to transfer to the card 100MB files & play them from the card with intonvideo,and if i recall correctly during that i must experienced a system freeze which forced me to reboot. 
$ mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 on /media/card type vfat (ro,fmask=0022,dmask=0022,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1) $dmesg [21474757.560000] FAT: Filesystem panic (dev mmcblk0p1) [21474757.560000] fat_get_cluster: invalid cluster chain (i_pos 0) [21474757.565000]
