I wanted to reply to this issue already earlier: I have shr-unstable
with 2.6.34.8 and only normal or inverted work. The other options
result in:

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range
for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request:  149 (RANDR)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  2 (RRSetScreenConfig)
  Value in failed request:  0x280 (for -o 3)
  Serial number of failed request:  14
  Current serial number in output stream:  14

  Value in failed request:  0x10 (for -o 4)
