Dear WG, At the Maastricht meeting, we recommended the WG to adopt the top-down approach for the algorithm transition document. At that time, the WG directed us to try the Laissez-Faire model.
At yesterday's meeting, after further analysis on impact of that decision and changes needed to existing protocols, the consensus was to reverse that position and adopt only the Top-Down model. I am planning to write a new (and simplified) version of the document using the Top-Down model. If there is anyone that objects this change, please speak-up. Regards, Roque.
