Our clients are hiring several proven Investment Banking technology professionals in Mumbai. We are seeking out proven IT professionals who have been working in the technology space on an uninterrupted basis for the last 5/8 yrs with captives of MNC banks and an overall work exp range of 11-13 yrs. The key deliverables of this role are the following - 1) Delivery of technology solutions to support the highly dynamic business needs of India (front office) Equities. 2) The key products include Equities Derivatives, Cash Equities, F&O and Program Trading. 3) Leadership of India Equities F&O Applications Team 4) Leadership and management of India Equities F&O technology's roadmap and strategy 5) Partnership with the Senior Business Head to drive the strategy and execution of the technology roadmap 6) Management of the availability and stability of the technology infrastructure 7) Management of budget and financials related to India Equities F&O technology agenda 8) People and Team Management including career management, coaching and mentoring of specific resources in the team, recruitment and resourcing strategies (e.g. location strategies). 9) Reviews and coordinates a consistent set of quality principles and processes and ensures change control. Sponsors quality management initiatives, ensuring standards are met. 10) Management and reporting of key projects 11) Vendor management This candidate will necessarily come out of the Indian front office operations of a leading global investment bank - Nomura, Citigroup, Bank of America, Credit Suisse, Credit Lyonnaise, Merrill Lynch, HSBC GLT, Morgan Stanley and UBS . Mumbai based candidates would be on priority. Candidates may carefully make a note of the following diligence procedures that would be implemented - 1) All educational documents i.e. mark sheets and certificates to be available 2) All appointment and release letters (including no dues certificates) of each employment to be available 3) There should be no adverse credit history. Desired Candidate Profile We are seeking out technologists from within the Investment Banking domain whose profiles would closely correspond to the following parameters – 1) BE/B Tech – Computers 2) Overall IT industry experience of 11 to 13 yrs with Tier I cos 3) Investment banking domain exposure over last 5-10 yrs 4) Current experience with a MNC investment bank's Indian front office the last 3/6 yrs in the equities/F & O Technology 5) Prior experience in leading application development team in an Investment Banking environment is required 6) Experience partnering with senior business head on the technology agenda (production and investment) 7) Strong people management experience 8) Strong organizational skills 9) Excellent communication skills 10) Familiarity with India Equities markets and Equities business preferred 11) Familiarity with working in a global environment/culture 12) Ability to multitask and work effectively under extreme pressure and stress 13) Positive Attitude 14) Prior experience driving major infrastructure & application transformational programmes 15) Prior experience in recruitment and attracting talents into the team 16) Experience in Java and C++ preferred 17) Familiarity with managing applications running on Unix/Linux/Windows platforms Candidates who have been with the following companies over the last 5/8 yrs within the investment banking tech space (focused on Equities.F & O Technologies) would be processed on priority - Citigroup, Nomura, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, BofA, Credit Lyonnaise, RBS, GS, & HSBC GLT.
