Position: Software Application Developer/Analyst (Java) Location: Plano, TX United States(MUST BE LOCAL) Duration: 10 months * * *High Level Job Description:* * * Under direct supervision, assists in the analysis, design, programming, and modification of computer programs for software products and/or customer applications. Writes code and completes programming, testing, and debugging of applications. Finalizes forms, procedures, and documentation needed for installation and maintenance of application programs. May interface with marketing and users to add new or custom features to company products. Typically requires a technical degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 1-2 Years of experience *No Qualifying Questions included. Must be local and must first pass a written exam administered at the site.*** * * Applications Software analyst responsible for production support of Sales application running on UNIX and Windows platforms. Analyst will participate in 24X7 on-call support working closely with the Help Desk and our customers to resolve issues. Analyst will be responsible for root-cause analysis of issues and code development to resolve issues. Analyst will work cross-team to find solutions to customers issues. Analyst may also participate in work to port applications to LINUX platform.
