 *Position:       Quality Control Analyst*

*Location:      Pittsburgh, PA*

*Duration:      6+ months*

*Key Skills:*



 Property and Casualty Insurance background Quality Control (QC)
Administration experience Coordination of all Software Incident Report (SIR)
experience



*Note:*  This is not QA position.



*Skill-Sets:*

*           In depth knowledge of Quality Control (QC), including advanced

reporting skills.

*           Basic understanding of manual and automated testing processes.

*           Strong understanding of the Defect Management process.

*           Good communication skills and the ability to present to a large
audience.

*           Very Detailed and Organized.



*Quality Control (QC) Administration:*

*           Works with QA Lead(s) to manage the Defects Module in QC
Program.

*           Assists with coordination of all Software Incident Report (SIR)
calls.

*           Reviews all SIRs in QC for adherence to process and monitors
aging/Service Level Agreement (SLAs).

*           Follows up with SIR owners when process breaks down or SLAs are
not met.

*           Monitors and tracks all postponed SIRs and testing of SIRs
across releases.

*           Participates in process improvements and communicates/trains
users on any changes or updates as needed.

*           Helps ensure that updates to QC configurations are completed as
needed (with the appropriate lead approvals).



*Quality Control (QC) Status Reporting:*

Produces script reports as needed, including: Requirements

Coverage Reports, Script Development Status and Script Execution Status
(Planned vs. Actuals).

Tracks SIR status (i.e., New, Open, Fixed) and SIR counts for

all SIRs.  This includes all SIRs that track issues, questions,
documentation errors and coding errors within all phases/projects/releases.

Ensures status of each SIR is accurately reflected and that

necessary updates are made each day.

Reports daily SIR metrics (overall and by phase/type), including

SIR backlogs.

Provides input into the weekly status report, including SIR

metrics and status of the critical SIRs.

Identifies specific SIRs with excessive resolution times (based

on resolution SLAs).

Assists with measurement of SIRs against exit criteria.

Meets regularly with QA Lead(s) on reporting needs.

Generates ad hoc SIR reports as needed.
