*Position: Microstrategy lead developer* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Duration: 3 months* *Primary Skills* *:* Microstrategy 9.0 *only Citizen, GC* 3+ years of experience with *Microstrategy Business Intelligence software*, including expertise in latest software release (9.0). Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Microstrategy deployment and architecture, including: server configuration/architecture, metadata creation, report/dashboard development, and performance optimization. Highly proficient with dimensional database modeling, resource should be able to *analyze SQL* statements generated by Microstrategy and determine where changes should be made to the metadata model in order to produce desired results. Ability to leverage Microstrategy tools to make best use of resources and ensure optimum performance of the tool. Examples would be the use of I-cubes and caching to improve report performance, as well as the use of Enterprise Manager and Cube Advisor tools to understand usage patterns and make suggestions for improvements. Knowledge of and experience implementing both Microstrategy-specific and general BI best practices. Experience with integrating Microstrategy with heterogeneous data sources and the implementation of dynamic-sourcing. Experience integrating Microstrategy with Netezza data sources a plus Able to work alongside existing Clearwire OSS resources to facilitate knowledge transfer and to allow them to have hands-on experience with the tool.
