GC or Citizens only. Responsible for web site design and content management for internal and external sites . Coordinates web-related activities for marketing and public relations functions. Also focuses on overall system web marketing strategies and events ensuring that the brand and image of the organization is maintained. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Designs and builds new web sites using .NET for internal and external entities. Coordinates, plans, and executes internal and external web site redesigns. Works with IT to integrate programming into new and existing web sites. Maintains and updates company's internal and external web sites. Regularly reviews internal and external websites to review content, make suggestions to keep the look fresh and ensure that requested content changes are implemented in a timely manner. Provides ideas and suggestions for new and innovative approaches related to the Web and social media. Helps plan, organize and implement marketing communication activities to increase public awareness and promote the company. Assists in designing and implementing marketing campaigns and programs. Establishes effective mechanisms of communication with staff, providers, and the management team to foster an environment of openness, trust, teamwork and staff development. Communicates with Vice President of Public Relations and Communications regularly to review service issues and opportunities for improvement to ensure the delivery of high quality service to all internal and external customers. Maintains compliance with all safety and legal guidelines Monitors all environmental conditions in order to secure protected information. Qualifications/Experience: Extensive web programming skills including .NET and HTML . Working knowledge of javascript and Coldfusion is preferred. Experience with managing and developing web sites within a content management system. Extensive computer skills and the ability to lean and use new software and technology. Experience with website software and tools and/or desktop publishing or graphic design software. Experience with developing and maintaining websites or other related electronic and multimedia publishing formats. Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical individuals. Requires highly developed communications and negotiation skills to effectively work with all levels of management. Ability to understand and deal effectively with problems and opportunities. Understands computer system functionality, limitations, and architecture of supported applications. Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships.
