Develop Java/Websphere components which will operate inside client’s Java Reference Architecture environment using Agile Development techniques in order to create a web service which will provide Unified Presence and Click-to-Call/Chat capabilities in server-based business applications. a. Actively participate in requirements gathering and rapid prototyping sessions b. Service will incorporate setting and accessing information on roles, location, activities, availability, and available communications channels c. Service will integrate with Microsoft Office Communications Server and Cisco Unified Communication Manager d. Develop or enhance business applications which will utilize the web service capabilities e. Assist in developing and executing test plans f. Support initial pilot deployments of developed code and applications *Skills* 1. 3 or more years experience developing Java applications with *Websphere*and/or *JBoss *2. 3 or more years development experience with *web service* and/or *RESTful *service development 4. Demonstrated Agile development methodology experience 5. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills required 6. Experience with architecture design projects desired 7. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Communication Server application development desired 8.
