Whoever is interested in extracting the local DOS: as was earlier discussed couple of times, a script (not sophisticated but allowing to do the job without recompiling) is still available at http://www.home.uni-osnabrueck.de/apostnik/Software/fmpdos.f (and please... before complaining that is doesn't work check if issue No.4 "PDOS" in Alberto's "Known issues for Siesta 2.0 fixed in Siesta 2.0.1" http://fisica.ehu.es/ag/siesta-extra/issues.html does not apply in your case).
