i have the same situation (ifc + icc + blacs-scalapack , parallel with LAM 7.1.1)
The problem seems between mpirun to pass input file ( < convention signal), i cut&paste the .fdf code into the siesta terminal and send with ctrl-D and the systems starts to proceed. The problem it's only with file with tabs and comments, not really read very well. It's possible to pass a argument file to SIESTA ?. Regards Eduardo Romero. Santiago - Chile
