Dear Siesta Users,
I successfully compiled SIESTA. I try to reproduce the QUICK START/Running the
program/h2o.fdf example. I follow all the steps: create a pseudopotential
for O, retrieve the pseudopotential for H, run siesta < h2o.fdf | tee h2o.out
It does not work! The error message that it produces is the following:
At line 44 of file m_wxml_text.F90
Fortran runtime error: Nonnegative width required in format
(i*)
^
It does not create all the files that it must create after a successful run
of course.
I then look at the code, file m_wxml_text.F90, line 44:
41: character(len=100) :: s
42: character(len=4) :: form
43: write(form,'(a,i1,a)') '(i',len(s),')'
44: write(s, form) i
It looks like, in line 43, they write to the variable 'form', which is len=4.
But there seems to be too many things that go into it:
'(i', len(s) which is 100, and ')'
I am guessing this is the problem it's having. Could anyone please look at your
code of SIESTA and tell me what you have in the vicinity of the line 44 in the
file m_wxml_text.F90?
PLEASE help!
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Anastassia
