Dear All,

I have a silly question about the external electric field:

In the coordinate system of my unit cell, my molecule
is centered around the origin.
It seems that Siesta adds a term to the
Hamiltonian of the form: Ex*(x-x0)+Ey*(y-y0)+Ez*(z-z0),
in each unit cell (a saw tooth potential)
Is that right?

If yes, then what are the: (x0,y0,z0)?
Is it the unit cell origin or is it something else?

Thank you so much.
