Dear SIESTA users:
This is an update about the Mailing List Archive, and the
new way to subscribe/unsubscribe to the SIESTA Mailing List.
* About the Archive:
As you may have noticed the archive of messages to our list
has been resumed. There are now two different links to two
archives, one for older messages and one for newer ones.

You may have observed that there is a gap in dates between
both archives: Messages from August to October 22nd 2009,
have not been stored. We have rescued those "lost to the archive"
messages and they are now indexed and placed in a single file
that I will send subsequently. The file contains an index so it should be
relatively easy to search information within. And, this way, those
messages will now be stored as well in the Archive.
* About the new commands to use the list:
In that page, you can also find that the exact syntax to subscribe,
unsubscribe, and to send messages has slightly changed:
- The address of the mailing list robot is now [email protected]
- The address to the list is [email protected]
- It is suggested now to use the subject line instead of the body
of the message.

Subscribing:
To subscribe to the Siesta Mailing List just send an e-mail to
[email protected] with the following in its subject: SUBSCRIBE SIESTA-L
your_name , you can use blanks within your_name. Please leave the
body of the message completely blank.
Sending messages:
To send a message to everyone currently subscribed to the list, just
send an regular e-mail to [email protected]
Leaving the list:
To leave the list just send an e-mail to [email protected] with the
following in its subject: SIGNOFF SIESTA-L , the body of the message
should be blank.
