Dear Siesters, I offer to the use by whoever might be interested a simple Fortran code for - of all things - constructing a supercell (starting from an existing XV file, specifying 3*3 integer supercell matrix). Yes I know Siesta can do it on its own, but on many occasions I was taken aback by weird placement and numbering of resulting atoms, which makes the supercell life sometimes unnecessarily difficult. Moreover, the script can be (hopefully) easily adapted for other formats than XV and hence beyond Siesta. Go get it at http://www.home.uni-osnabrueck.de/apostnik/Software/xv2scl.f
