Dear Siesters,

I need to simulate scanning tunneling spectroscopy (STS) spectra of the
surface accurately.
I am especially interested in excited states (empty states in STM, taken at
'+').
The results as calculated in Siesta LDA are good for filled states STM,
but in disagreement with experiment for empty states.

Can anybody recommend me something? It looks like I need to take into
account quasiparticles corrections (like in GW approximation).
Is GW approximation implemented in Siesta? Or will be in near future?

Kind regards
Ruslan Zhachuk
