Dear Siesta users; I have two questions:
First question: When I compare two calculations: 1. SpinObit T SpinPolarized T and 2. SpinObit T SpinPolarized F The results are completly the same. It means that when I used SOI my system is always Spin Polirized, am I right? I don't really understand it , becouse when we have SOI good quantum number is J not S (spin), so how can this two flags work together? My second question is: I wanted to calculate and see the magnetic anisotropy in GaMnAs, would it be proper to optimize parameters for GaMnAs (basis, Meshcutoff, kgrid ) without turning on magnetic flags (SpinOrbit, SpinPolirezed, NonCollinearMagnetism) and then use it for further magnetic calcualtions? Thank you in advance for any advice. Magda
