Hi,

To obtain DOS in SIESTA you have to have ProjectedDensityOfStates
section in your input file (see section 6.14.2 in the manual). If you
do, then siesta run produces 2 files in which DOS is stored in XML
format: pdos.xml and <system_label>.PDOS.

The pdos utility is needed to extract data from these files for
plotting. To use it, you have to run 'pdos pdos.xml' or 'pdos
<system_label>.PDOS' depending on which file you use for DOS
extracting.

Regards,
Andrey.
