Hello all,

Usually I use a bulk calculation and get the lattice constant to create a slab.

Now, I would like to create a slab made by two different metal atoms (for exp.
a 4x4 using Pt and Ir) and to have different random distributions (one slab
Pt20 % Ir 80% than Pt 40% Ir 60% and Pt 50% and Ir 50% and the other way
around) but it must be random.
So, I relax the slabs, how can I estimate a reasonable lattice constant in this
case?

I cannot follow the earlier path with the bulk calculation, because I am losing
the randomness.

Thank you
Csaba
