Dear Siesta users,

A number of enhancements to the TranSiesta and TBTrans subsystems have
been added by Nick Papior Andersen, of the Technical Univ. of
Denkmark.

The new code is in the "development version" of Siesta, available in
the "Access to the code" section of the Siesta website. Current
TranSiesta users are encouraged to test it, as it provides a number of
new features and performance enhancements. (See Docs/CHANGES for a
full list of changes.)

Users should read the file Docs/TranSiestaUpdate.pdf, as well as the
manual, to get a primer on the new features and things to watch out
for and explore in the new version.

To report any remaining issues, see Docs/REPORTING_BUGS

Thanks for your patience and continuous support.

The Siesta team
