Dear SIESTA users: I want to know how the module of ExternalElectricField is implemented in SIESTA package. Is it via an external sawtooth potential, or via the modern theory of polarizability, or something else? In addition it will be helpful to me if you can let me know the reference based on which this external electric field module is carried out. Thanks very much.
