Dear Grigory,

We have decided to treat older versions (including 3.2) according to the terms
of their original license. Our policy is the following:

- The new development and distribution platform is http://launchpad.net/siesta.
Users can find there new GPL releases (starting with 4.0). Computer centers can
install those with no access restrictions.

- Older releases can still be downloaded from the Siesta webpage
(http://www.uam.es/siesta), but are subject to the conditions of the Academic
or Computer Center License. Computer centers can install them but can make them
available only to academics.

- Any older code obtained from the revision-control history available from the
Launchpad site is subject to the licensing conditions appearing in the file(s)
or in the appropriate top-level license file for the same revision number.

I should add that Siesta 4.0 will move out of beta very soon.

  Best regards,

  Alberto, for the Siesta developers.
