Dear transiesta users, In transiesta, for the scattering region, we have open boundary in the conduction direction (z-direction). Could any one please explain that why in all transiesta examples (in siesta-package/Tests/TranSiesta-TBTrans and siesta-package/Examples/TranSiesta and also here <http://dipc.ehu.es/frederiksen/tstutorial/index.php/Exercises_TS_School_2009>), they have taken more than one k-point and even high k-point density in the z-direction?
