Dear Sullah,

Thank you for your reply!

I have tried to get .xsf file by using rho2xsf, and then use
xcrysden/Tools/Data grid to plot LDOS, but it's not what I expect.(I want to
plot LDOS on two-dimensional coordinates, like Fig1)

Fig 1

Is there any software can plot Ldos like this? Or can I get this picture by
setting xcrysden?

Looking forward to your reply??Thanks~ :)

yours??
Lee

Dear Lee,

The file .LDOS is not directly readable, however, you can transform it into a
readable format, e.g to .XSF format (for its use in XCrysden) by using the
utility rho2xsf written by Andrei Postnikov. You can find the utility in
(siesta/Util/Contrib/APostnikov).

  Dear all,

 Thanks for checking this message.

I can get File.LDOS by using this follow code:

 %block LocalDensityOfStates
 -3.50 0.00 eV
 %endblock LocalDensityOfStates

But I have no idea how to read this file, I tried to use 'plrho.f' (see
~/siesta/Util/Plrho), however I cannot compile the code.

Can anybody tell me how to read the LDOS file? (Or how to plot the LDOS ?)

I really appreciate your help in advance! :)

 Yours sincerely,
 Lee
