Dear SIG Members,

Following the discussions at the AFRINIC 21 meeting in Mauritius held
last year between 22-28 November 2014, the proposals under discussion
reached the following statuses.

One proposal reached consensus and moved to Last Call:

    - anycast Resource Assignments in the AFRINIC region

Current policy allows AFRINIC members to acquire IPv4 space for
anycast service deployment purposes, but does not provide the
ability to request IPv6 anycast space. There is also no provision
for issuing AS Numbers for anycast purposes. This proposal changes
the policy to include the option to request IPv6 space and AS
      Numbers for any cast purposes.

    - AFRINIC whois Database Update Process
