Grrr!

Shortly after my problem with RR on tuesday, our other windows boxes
started experiencing the exact same thing. In a move which totally
defied logic, RR tech support recommended unplugging the cablemodem
for 60 seconds and resetting it, which worked. I could understand
unplugging for hours and letting DHCP leases expire as was suggested,
but 60 seconds? *shrug* Maybe the modem caches MAC addresses, but
doesn't drop them when the plug is pulled? I spent hours working on
this one :).
