There's a couple of cap metro busses that will get you pretty darn
close. (I know, busses are unfashionable, but you get what you pay
for (which as a UT student (or staff) is nada))
174 - which runs through campus and gets you within about half a mile
south
244 - you'd have to get to Northcross Mall on some other route, but it
would drop you off just across the street south of Fry's
