I took the DYI class last week. It was a pretty mindless class were you
fill out some paper work and hear them talk about the cable modem some.
One problem I had, that you may want to ask them about, was that the cable
modem I recieved at the class had already been tested by TW staff and this
was a problem. I had to have the modem replaced later that week because
of that. I am not sure about the exact details about that. Otherwise the
installation is a snap. I havent had a chance to get the linux software
up and running but it seems simple enough.
