I have used both WP7 and StarOffice 4 for Linux. WP7 was better overall
in the word processor department (and it's good if you're used to the WP
way of doing things, much like MS Word.) SO, however, is a fairly
complete and useable office suite, so it depends on what your needs
are. I currently use SO4 because my WordPerfect 7 was a limited time
trial and SO is free for personal use. Note that a heavily updated
version of both Star Office 5 and WordPerfect 8 are forthcoming RSN.
The full Corel/WordPerfect office suite for Linux is being "worked on"
but they haven't made any release dates.
