If you're looking for a card with decent specs and unbeatable linux
support, you might check out Mylex/BusLogic cards.  Just about
any  FlashPoint/MultiMaster card should work.  The same Linux driver
works for any of them (you can double-check against info on
the BusLogic driver mainter's page (http://www.dandelion.com/Linux/).

I use the nearly-bottom-of-the-line ISA MultiMaster card (BT-542) but
I know people using the PCI ones with no problem.  I think these
run in the $100 ballpark.  I got my ISA for $15 used to
support a couple of 500MB scsi drives.
