BACKUP YOUR / PARTITION!
Make sure you have a copy of e2defrag somewhere other than /. Get tomsrtbt.
( http://www.toms.net/rb/ ). Make a tomsrtbt disk. Boot it. Mount your /usr
partition (or wherever you have e2defrag). Then defrag your / partition.
I would highly recommend that you then mount / somewhere and run lilo before
trying to reboot off of your hard disk.
