I just installed RH 5.0 and as soon as all the services are started (the
last one being sendmail), my computer just stops. At first I thought that
it was my flakey computer, so I rebooted. The next time it happened, on a
whim, I typed "getty", lo and behold I was presented with a login prompt.
Why in the world would this happen? It's not a big deal for me to type in
getty, I just feel that this may be a symptom of something worse.
