Suggestion. Many mailing list subscriptions now require an email
confirmation reply before subscribing someone to the list. Would it be
possible to do this for siglinux? Emails like the preceeding drive home
the point that evolution is simply not working anymore, which is kind of
depressing - I for one, need to be sheltered from such harsh realities.

It seems some types in the pay of Redmond were handing out
flyers inviting people to a Virtual Java++ thing along with
T-shirts promoting the Microsoft Java virtual machine.
Quite a few people accepted the T-shirts, and then passed
them along to the homeless around the Moscone Center.
Microsoft obviously gets Java: Here's a clear demonstration
of the principals of re-use, portability, and inheritance.
