Hey, I've got Linux on an Aptiva, too. I'm no Linux expert, but I'd that guess your problem is probably with FAT32. I don't think that the tools which currently come packaged can repartition a FAT32 partition. They couldn't a year ago. I know at that time, some hackers were modifying utilities like fdisk to work with FAT32 properly. Poke around on DejaNews to see if anyone has announced anything. One easy solution would be to buy Partition Magic (about $50 at CompUSA).
