Unless you want to use dhcpcd, or ip masquerading.

A couple of other things break, but those were the biggies for me.

luckily, there're several good documents listing what you need to
upgrade and where to get them.

And there're things like project tango, and redhat's kernel-2.2 on
updates.redhat.com, that have all the .rpms that you would need, if
you're in to that kind of thing.
