All right guys,
due to a lot of reasons, including high traffic,
and out of hand flaming , a new mailing
list has been set up. It is called siglinux-announce, there
should some way to get on the list from the web site soon.
This list will only be posted to by me and will contain only
pertinent SIGLinux info, like meetings and so, on.
I will send announcements by CC to this list so you don't have
to join it if you don't want to.
This list is great most of the time, and we will continue to
use this as our community forum, so most of us should probably
stay on this list.
However if you are un-happy with the list and only want
siglinux info, and maintaining an extremely low traffic,
join siglinux-announce.
Also don't forget about our mail-archive of this list
its at
http://www.mail-archive.com/siglinux@locutus.csres.utexas.edu/
This archive is good for the following reasons, if you leave the list
you will still be able to keep up with it when you want to,
also if you have a question you can check the archive to see if
someone has had a similar question.
I might set up a better archive myself off the siglinux site, but
thats a big if right now.
