Hi, I'm having trouble setting up my network at the dorms(resnet). I
have a D-Link DFE-530TX, and I am using a VIA-RHINE driver modularly. At
boot up, Linux detects it, but when I type "dmesg", I see four lines of
"ARP: arp called for own IP address" after my eth0 is detected.
Ok, I can telnet to my Linux box from my other computer, but whenever I
try to telnet from my Linux box to "tick.ece.utexas.edu", I get a "Host
name lookup failure."
I have a hub connected to my wall jack, and then a two computers
hooked up to the hub. One is running Windoze, one is the Linux box...is
there some issue I have to deal w/ routing?
I don't know what is wrong, my hub setup, the module, or what!
