i'm trying to tackle getting sendmail working on my box. i'd appreciate some help
from anyone with sendmail experience.
my hostname is equinox, my domain is sacrilege.org, i use smtp-server.austin.rr.com
for smtp outbound.
within sendmail.cf i set:
Dwequinox
DDsacrilege.org
DMsacrilege.org
DSsmtp:smtp-server.austin.rr.com
DFsmtp-server.austin.rr.com
in sendmail.cw i have:
equinox
in /etc/aliases i have added:
mugoi: mugoi
(mugoi is my username on equinox)
i've run newaliases and restarted sendmail on my box.
this is the output from me running mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] -v on locutus:

ignore that forwarding stuff. i don't know why i am getting the
"we do not relay" and "User unknown" messages. i thought if
mugoi was defined in /etc/aliases i would not get something like that.
does anyone have any ideas?

"The straightforward and easy path was to join the proprietary software world,
signing nondisclosure agreements and promising not to help my fellow hacker....
I could have made money this way, and perhaps had fun programming (if I closed
my eyes to how I was treating other people). But I knew that when my career was
over, I would look back on years of building walls to divide people, and feel
I had made the world ugly."
