weston sorry for the really late reply, but it looks to me like you just
need to enable the option for 'other VLB / PCI NICs' or something like
that, I have an RTL 8139 on this box, and it's worked great w/ every
kernel I've had, from 2.0.36 to 2.2.5 and I'm compilng 2.2.9 now ;p
