My guide has been 2 things: 1) the man pages and 2) the RH Manual. Here is the
location of the online RHManual:
http://www.redhat.com/corp/support/manuals/RHL-5.2-Manual/install-guide/manual/doc000.html
I personally use the index a lot and alt-f to a key word that I am thinking of.
Trouble with the man pages is that they have too much information and that they
use the linux commands rather than my ideas of a key word (linux key word ==
lnxkwd || linuxkw || lkw). However, after a steep learning curve (forced by
Operating Systems), I found that I can use the man pages quickly and eaily. The
trick to them is the find function (pattern matching if you are that good).
Load your desired man page, "man desiredlkw" and press "?", then type the
keyword you are looking for. Oh, and "q" exits the man pages. Tehehe. I hated
finding that.
Hope that helps.
