I just downloaded the linux-mandrake ISO (redhat 6 with kde). Half a pack
of cigarettes later, everything works like a champ (except pnp sound and
modem, but i'm not going to mess with tackling that just yet). I don't
particularly like kde, it seems a bit slow. Somebody told me that blackbox
is a much better/more efficient XWManager. So I'm going to set that up.
Anyway, if anyone wants the CD, i've got a burner, and can spit one out in
like 20 minutes. For $5 or two blanks, I'll hook it up. This revision
just came out like 3 days ago, so it's current to say the least. E-mail me
at this addy if ya need one.
